Michael Kellner is a software engineer that loves to live deep in the machine. After forming his first company to create SCSI hard disk drivers for the Macintosh in 1988, he moved on to help Apple bring QuickTime to Unix and bring the Macintosh experience to Unix based platforms. As the Internet was starting to gain momentum, he helped to establish streaming media caching solutions with a patented technique.

Mike has a passion for portability. Making common code work on different platforms, operating systems, architectures and development environments delivers benefits in stability, consistency and time-to-market. As a founding member of Kinoma, he has delivered groundbreaking software on phones, desktops, servers and embedded platforms.
